1. Purchased for crumbling plastic hinges on Edgestar 43 qt

   The stainless steel hinges are great and fit my Edgestar 43 qt. fridge/freezer perfectly. I have put off ordering them because imo kind of pricey and a bit iirritated with Edgestar when discovering after a little over 1 year of very light use the plastic hinges had literally crumbled apart. This on a $450 + appliance. which had just gone beyond the 1 year warranty period. Rediculous.
   
   Note to the companies using plastic hinges: Just add the stainless hinges on original purchase and charge a little more. Less grief for your customer and better company/product satisfaction.
   
   Thanks Ambient Stores for carrying them at the most reasonable price I could find.

2. Fits Edgestar, Too

   I needed some hinges for my 43 liter Edgestar and these worked well. The top holes lines up with the existing mounting holes in the lid. The lower part lines up with one mounting hole and it's easy to drill the other two and use screws to hold. This solved our crumbling plastic hinge problem.

3. Whynter Freezer metal hinges

   This is an upgrade that needs to be down to all freezers with the plastic hinges. The plastic fail frequently and the hinge binds when the pin rusts. Worth every penny.
