   After checking this company's website, most of the links were blank - still seems to be under construction.. Was hesitant to order from them, but gave it a try. Controller was delivered on schedule, and no strange charges to my credit card. My AC unit has no controls on the console except on/off. Everything is run by the wireless controller. ( I will never buy an appliance without both again.) I was not sure if the controller was defective or the base unit. Ordered a controller to test. Worked perfectly. Ordered a second as a backup. Salvaged a $350 AC. Thank you Ambient.

3. Remote CONTROL ASS'Y for ARC-110WD

   The remote failed after 2+ years. The replacement was $19.50 and was shipped promptly.
   I've been impressed with the A/C unit itself. I've had it for 2+ years. I run it about 12 hours a day without problem until the remote failed. Whynter was quick in diagnosing the problem. Cos t of the replacement remote was reasonable and shipped very quickly.

4. I ordered two!!

   I ordered and paid for Two remote controls. I received ONE! Why you could not put them both in one package is beyond me. I sent an E-mail requesting help on where is my other remote about/on apx. 06/11/17 and have had NO response. You are costing me money! I do resale and cannot sell my product with-out the remote! HELP....

5. great controller

   needed a replacement controller for my ac. this one matches the original and works perfectly. bright lighted display and sits on the unit for easy finding.

6. This is a very effective air mobile conditioner. BUT...There are too few buttons ON IT to make it work.

   This air conditioner must have its matched controller to run properly. I dropped the original controller on the 4th night while reaching to turn the AC off. It slipped from my tired fingers....and the screen on the controller failed.
   
   The overly delicate controller screen is the most questionable part of the air conditioner design. The controller is slippery plastic, weak and fragile. The controller is so poorly designed that IT SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. It slipped from my hand; it fell about 2 feet to the floor. It broke. The screen looks as if it twisted within the weak plastic controller shell. The plastic shell that is too thin is called a Manufacturer's Design Defect, It could never have survived standard UL or ASTM drop testing.
   My nephew could have built a better one.
   
   I left the replacement in the bubble wrap packaging it came in. It's clear; it's taped on tightly. It works just fine. Hopefully the extra 'armor' will keep it functional. for more than a week. Note: keep the corners strong.
   
   I LIKE THE AC. It is quiet and effective. It would get 5 stars, but the $35 controller gets a goose-egg. Further protection MUST BE supplied by the customer. I feel I deserve an ENGINEERING FEE for the easily achievable solution that I just presented to you.
   I'll take 1/2 day's pay at Silicon Valley Master Engineer's rates...or I'll accept.
   a refund of the $35 that I spent on the second controller, tax and freigh.t
